Bad Ems is nestled between Taunus and Westerwald, along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Lahn.

Many impressive spa houses from the Baroque period, such as the former "Fürstliche Nassau-Oranische Badehaus" (built 1711-1715) and the current "Häcker’s Grand Hotel," made Bad Ems one of the most famous spas in Europe early on. A part of the historic buildings has been largely preserved in its original condition.

Bad Ems is home to the oldest casino in Germany. Just like in the past, many guests still visit the inviting wellness town on the Lahn to relax in the springs located directly in the house and the enchanting surroundings. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Lahn Valley on a trip with the Kurwaldbahn up to Bismarckhöhe.
